2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa

France is out of the round of the first ROUND!!! What a disappointing tournament for them, as it seems that they didn't play for each other or for their country.

Will any of them be called upon for 2014? I for one would hope none of them are called upon, including the head coach who didn't even shake hands after the South Africa match.

As far as things have gone so far, Brazil or Argentina will be the eventual winner. I hope its Argentina.

The defending champions Italy, out of the first round. Another team that fell short of its expectations and like the French did their egos get the better them?

I think you are right Brazil or Argentina do look very good and they seem to be playing better with each game.

That Italy game was exciting near the end. They almost scored at the very end to tie it.. but nope.. fail!

That England goal that was disallowed was such a bad call. I guess the ref had a bad angle but man, it was clearly over the line.

Anyone followed the England vs. Germany match or the later match between Argentina and Mexico this weekend? Both games had some very bad officiating drastically changed the flow of a match; the no goal from England and the offside goal from the Argentina match.

Both non calls really changed both teams mentally.

Well that setups up Argentina vs. Germany in the quarter finals. Who do you thinks will win this one?

After these two horrible no calls, FIFA will reopen the debate on high-tech methods to improve decision-making on the pitch following the mistakes. But really they need to apologize for so many other non calls that cost other teams to advance.

I hope they do consider this for the 20th FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

NETHERLANDS BEATS BRAZIL 2-1 IN WORLD CUP QUARTERFINAL

The big Orange machine seems to be gaining steam, good job Netherlands on your win against Brazil.

My prediction is Netherlands and Germany in the finals with Germany winning the title. Too bad there won't be a Spain vs Germany final, I think those two are the better teams of the four left.

The 32 year drought of not appearing in the World Cup final is now over for Netherlands.

What a great match today for Netherland, 3-2 victory over Uruguay.

Anyone still watching the game? Too bad most of the hot teams were out.

Spain will be advancing to the World Cup final for the first time in team history with a victory over Germany today.

Go Spain Go.
