This morning's Emmy Award nominations will please Glee fans. Fox's hit high-school musical comedy picked up 19 nominations, including best comedy series, best directing, and outstanding acting.

HBO's 10-part Second World War miniseries The Pacific led with 24 nominations, including outstanding miniseries and best directing.

Mad Men followed Glee, with 17 nominations, including outstanding drama series, outstanding acting, and outstanding directing. It won best drama series last year, and has accumulated a total of 49 nominations and 9 wins since 2008.

Conan O'Brien picked up a nomination for outstanding variety and musical program for his seven-month stint on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. Jay Leno, who O'Brien replaced but was subsequently replaced by, wasn't nominated. Late Show With David Letterman also wasn't nominated.

Saturday Night Live, which received 12 nominations this year, established a record number of total nominations for a program, with a cumulative amount of 126 nods.

The awards, hosted by former SNLer Jimmy Fallon, will be broadcast on August 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. (PT) on NBC.
