I've created an address book in Horde, stored in the default location. I know how to download it to a .csv file, which I can use as one form of backup, but I'd also like to ensure I'm backing it up in its native format. Depending on what that format is, I might also want to read it using something other than Horde.

Is the address book a file in my ordinary directory tree, or is it somewhere else such as in a database?

Which of the various options under cPanel Backups or Backup Wizard captures the address book?

The address book is stored in Horde database. I am afraid, you do not have access to this database. You can only import it to a .csv file from webmail interface.
