This was totally my fault. I am in the process of desperately trying to move over my website from the dreaded DreamHost... and just as it was working... I blew it at the last moment.
Everything was working perfectly, and then I accidentally changed the root password for my MySQL database. That in turn locked out
phpMyAdmin with a warning:
Wrong username/password. Access denied.
How do I set the phpMyAdmin password in order to get CPanel Webhost Manager to run phpMyAdmin again? |

If you have access to cPanel WHM then you can reset the MySQL database administrator password.
Login to cPanel WHM and click MySQL Root Password.
