Hello,

I'm looking at getting my own domain name for a business website. I'm getting confused though. Is it the same thing as those free web pages out there? Ie: Geocities? What I mean is, when you have a host, do you do the html coding through them in an advanced editor? Or... how do you do it? I'm sorry to sound so dumb but I've only ever worked with free web pages and have never written html code in anything other then the editors those free sites provided. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

It's not like Geocities where there are banners everywhere on your webpages. You can use different editors such as Frontpage, NVU, or online web editor.
