| My domain is about to expire with CWH and I'd like to transfer my .com to another registrar - how can I go about doing this? Is it possible to transfer to a different registrar and point to my current CWH hosting plan? |

| Yes, you can. Just initiate the transfer from the domain registrar and you'll receive an email with instructions on how to transfer. |

| i tried this. you need an authorization code to transfer a .com .org etc to another hosting service. I wasn't able to find the authorization code anywhere and my transfer has now stalled. I've tried calling your tech support line and the line has disconnected on me 3 times in a row. I can't even login to my account to find the authorization code (if it is listed) because I cancelled my hosting service in anticipation of the transfer going through. |

All .com domain names as of Oct 2006 require EPP/transfer authorization key.
EPPs are required for .org, .info, .biz, .us. EPP codes (authorization codes or domain secret) must be obtained from the current registrar prior to the transfer.
All registrars must provide the EPP key if you request it. |
