Unable to get Web Disk (WebDAV) to work

Postby orest » Fri Sep 05, 2008 8:31 pm

I've followed all the Web Disk instructions for Mac OS, tried both SSL and non-SSL, tried connecting via Command-K and via CyberDuck -- all to no avail.

The cPanel means for connecting to Web Disk gets me as far as a download that contains the Web Disk app for my domain. I run the app but it times-out after a few minutes, complaining that "You must accept the servers certificate to be able to connect." I get this error for both SSL and non-SSL connection attempts.

At my wit's end. Any advice, anyone?

Hello,

There is a webdisk download option for mac osx on cpanel interface. You will
need to save the particular file and then double click on it to run it. Once you
run the file, your Web Disk will appear on your desktop.

The following are the steps to access this using cpanel:

1. Login to cpanel.
2. Click on "Web Disk" option under Files.
3. On "Web Disk" interface, under Web Disk Account Management click on "Access
Web Disk" option.
4. On "Access Web Disk", select the Mac OS from Apple operating systems and
click Go.

Note: Ports 2078 (SSL) or 2077 (non-SSL) will need to be allowed on your
computer's firewall to use the Web Disk.

Please have a look at this and let us know if you need any further assistance
from our end.

Please have a look at the following tutorial on Accessing Webdisk with Mac OS X
