He was so lucky. Someone really noticed the flashes. He would be doomed when either the battery ran out, or no one was watching the webcam.

I guess he must have a strong camera flash, and the other party must have a really nice webcam.

You should always be prepared when you head out into the wilderness. He was very lucky.
