Hi,

I would like to lease a new domain name. At this time, I only want this new domain name to have email addresses attached to it. I do not want to pay to host a new site just to have access to email addresses. Can I simply attach the new domain name to my present control panel and use the email accounts allocated to that account?

Hi,

Yes you can,

You will need to first register the domain name in the billing center at this link: https://canadianwebhosting.com/login.asp
(The login information is the same as your control panel if you have not changed it.)
Select-> accounts, new domain name and enter the domain name you wish to register

Once the domain name is registered you will need to park it in your control panel:
Select-> park domains and enter the domain name

Once it is parked you will be able to create email accounts for that domain name.

Note: It can take up to 4-24 hours for the domain name to fully register.
