Dead CWH Customers:

Please be advised that we will be performing a scheduled electrical maintenance at the VANCOUVER Data Center facility, during the following date and time:

Thursday, April 15th, 2010 at 22:00PM PST to Friday, April 16th, 2010 at 04:00AM PST

The building’s electrician team has discovered that the source breaker for custom cages 126 and 127 is running very hot. Although this does not pose an immediate threat to power and equipment, it is important that this matter be addressed in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the replacement of the breaker cannot be done when the circuits are live, meaning Canadian Web Hosting will transition the servers to alternate power.
Each server will be individually rebooted and put on alternate power. There will be a downtime of 5-15 minutes during this transition period.

There will be staff on hand at the datacenter during this period.
