A 10-year-old Dutch boy is the miraculous sole survivor of a plane crash in Tripoli Wednesday morning that left 103 people dead, including 61 Dutch citizens.

The boy, whose name has not been released, was rushed to a hospital in the Libyan capital for emergency surgery for what officials described as numerous fractures in both legs.

While the Dutch foreign ministry could not provide details about the boy or his condition, both Libyan officials and representatives from the Dutch tourism board gave his age and nationality to reporters.

Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen said: "We suppose he's Dutch because he said 'Holland Holland' to the doctor treating him." The doctor conveyed that information to the Dutch consul.

One lucky and unlucky kid. Lucky thing is he still alive. Bad things are he lost a couple family members and suffer from injuries.

reminds me of the Bruce Willis movie - Unbreakable - where he is the only survivor of a train wreck. Perhaps greater things are in store for him.
