If you are currently hosted under a Linux dedicated or VPS account running 64 bit version of the operating system, create a ticket and we'll patch your system to prevent this vulnerability.

To find out if you're running 64 bit version, log in as root and type this in command line:

Code: Select all
uname -a

If you see something like x64_64 then you are running 64 bit version and your kernel is vulnerable.

If you are hosted under shared Linux cPanel servers, then you are automatically protected by Ksplice rebootless update and you don't need to do anything.
