As some of you know, we have been very busy behind the scenes working to improve our share-hosting infrastructure and increasing overall reliability of our systems by integrating the newest server hardware on the market with a hybrid configuration that significantly enhances performance and reliability.

Because of all of our great customers, Canadian Web Hosting has been growing and we have seen significant increases in traffic, resource consumption and the use of resource heavy web apps like Drupal and Joomla; unfortunately this may have caused some “sluggishness” for a few of our customers. As one of the leading shared-hosting provider in Canada, it is our goal to continually seek and listen to customer feedback, and to deliver the premium services that you have come to expect. Because of the feedback we have been receiving, we are rolling out an entirely new line of super fast shared-hosting servers starting today.

Besides the usual features of our shared-hosting solutions like email, databases, SAN-supported storage, free backups, application tools and limitless disk space. Our new servers will utilize new drives that are 15x’s faster than our current servers, and because we are integrating SSD (Solid State Drives), access to these drives is almost instant when compared to more conventional drives. In combination with our new SSD drives, we are also leveraging optimized resource utilization and the latest RAID technologies that include features like SSD caching that deliver significantly improved performance. What this means for Canadian Web Hosting customers is better servers, performance and significantly improved reliability.
