Terminal period bugged?

Terminal period bugged?

Postby brent » Mon Jul 17, 2006 5:15 pm

I'm downloading messages from my mailboxes via POP. It appears that all of my messages have an extra couple of lines with a period followed by some whitespace at the end. If memory serves, e-mail messages are terminated by a line containing a sole period at the end of the message body. It looks a little like there may be problem with the email system where the terminal \r\n.\r\n at the end of a message is getting messed up, duplicated, etc. Has anybody else seen anything like this?
Cheers,
Brent

No takers on this one? I'm pretty sure this is causing fetchmail to go totally haywire.

HTML messages don't seem to be affected....
