Do you want your domain name to Auto Renew?

You will want to check this post out if you are one of the many that have a domain name registered through us!

Domain names that are registered through us are always set to NOT auto renew. If you wish to have them AUTO renew then you will need to make this change in the Billing Management Center aka BMC.

1. Log in to your BMC
2. Click on the "Accounts" tab
3. Under Domain List (towards the bottom of the page in the middle) choose the "Detail" button next to the domain name that you want to update
4. Find where it says Autorenewal it should have a "N" next to it... click the change button directly to the right, confirm the change and it will change it to a "Y"

You need to have a valid active credit card on file in order for your domain to AUTO renew. We attempt to AUTO renew your domain 30 days prior to expiration. We do this to make sure that if there are any issues in charging for this renewal you will have time to get this resolved before your domain expires. If the charge does not go through we send you out a decline email. It will be your responsibility to call us or log in to your BMC and change the credit card on file. We will continue to try and renew your domain till it expires if you have it set to AUTO renew and the renewal has not gone through yet. To guarantee that it gets renewed if the charge has failed and it is close to expiry date... go ahead and renew it through the BMC while you are updating the card. This is one of the many reasons that it is best to keep the most up to date credit card and email address on file with your account.

If you have any questions about this process or any others please give us a call!
