How To Update Name Servers

Postby Henry » Fri Sep 24, 2010 4:08 pm

Question:
Hi, I just signed up for an account and I selected the change name server option because I already have a domain name registered. How do I go about changing my domain name server to point to you?

Answer:
Hi, because the domain name is not registered through our company, what you will need to do is contact the company where you’ve registered the domain name at for assistance. If you forgot or do not know which company you’ve registered the domain name at, you can find out with the following link: http://www.domaintools.com/ (Simply enter your domain name in the search, and it will find out the details on your domain name.) If you are still not able to find out where your domain name is registered at, give us a call and we’ll find out for you.

Also if you need further assistance on how to update your name servers at the company, forward us your login information to the company where you’ve registered the domain name at and we will update it for you.

(Below is a useful link to video tutorials on how to update your name servers at various companies:

Note: if you registered your domain name through our company, we can update the domain name servers for you.
