ODBC connection to MYSQL database

ODBC connection to MYSQL database

I am connecting to the MYSQL database from MSAccess on my localhost via ODBC connection. It times out far too quickly for how I work - seems like about 5 minutes - I need to set this to be longer - is this a system variable that can be set and if so how?

I think that is not the way to connect to MySQL database. You should install MySQL ODBC driver and select "MySQL" from ODBC wizard in windows control panel.
