server does not have authentication methods turned on..?

I am still using old FrontPage and I don't publish to often. Last time i tried to use FP i got this messeage. "SERVER DOES NOT HAVE AUTHENTICATION METHODS TURNED ON", what does this mean? i tried it again this morning and I get the same message.
