What is the best way to host a video on a site? Not using third party's like youTube. Also, whats the best file format?

You can host video/audio files on dedicated/vps servers. The file format used for the video and audio files are .swf and .flv files. The video/audio streaming is not supported in our shared servers since it consumes lots of bandwidth.
