Hello,
I want to change the server that receives my email. Are these the steps to follow?
1. Click on MX Entry in CPanel
2. Delete the current MX Record and add a new one with the new mail server name
3. Change email routing to "Remote mail exchanger" since the server is not with Canadian Web Hosting
4. Repeat the above for each domain

After this is done, will I notice any problems while waiting for the dns to update?

Conrad, that is the correct procedure. There will be some dns delay as mail is routed to external email server.
