How come we can differentiate and good and bad hosting services?

How to tell between good or bad, is that your question?

You can tell after you've used them but that doesn't help you much, does it? I think to get a feel if they are good or bad is give them a call. See if anyone picks up.. if they do, see if you can get the sales persons direct line !
