transferring SSL certificate

Hello. We will be transferring sites from our old reseller account. What information do I need to get from the former hosting service to transfer an SSL certificate for one of the sites? Thank you very much.

Hi Stephen,
You will need the SSL Private Key and the Certificate for the domain. Then, email the info to our support. We will help with the installation.

If you select dedicated IP for the account while transferring it, it should transfer with a Working SSL Certificate for cPanel to cPanel Transfers. If you do not Select dedicated IP during the account transfer.

Just make sure have to back up of the key itself. The Cert & CSR are not working without key is not working. if they are delete your site/server that has the key, basically your Cert is lost without Backup.

Enter your zip code hereAs long as the server is using the same SSL protocols, the cert should be moveable.
