New Account but default page

Hey guys,

I've created a new account in WHM and understand the domain won't work until the DNS is updated but I had a few questions

1. When I go to the IP alone it shows the standard WHM/Apache status page, I have to add /~domain/ to the end each time to see the actual page. Would the DNS have to point directly here or can I use just the IP?

2. Is it possible to move that domain to my reseller account so all this can be done by me instead of having my customer make DNS changes?

Hello,

1. When I go to the IP alone it shows the standard WHM/Apache status page, I have to add /~domain/ to the end each time to see the actual page. Would the DNS have to point directly here or can I use just the IP?

*If you need to access the site just using IP address, then the domain should have a dedicated IP address assigned to it. If the domain does not have a dedicated IP, you should use http://ip/~username

2. Is it possible to move that domain to my reseller account so all this can be done by me instead of having my customer make DNS changes?

*Yes, you may move the domain, content and forth to your account as needed. Someone will need to update the DNS in order for it to work within your reseller.

Teo
