Hello :)

You can access the cpanel using the following:

http://www.my-domain.com:2082

2082- cpanel port

The issue with accessing the cpanel using url - http://www.my-domain.com/cPanel will be due to any error in domain settings. Please let us know the domain name to check the same. :)

We have found that company workplaces will not allow access to cPanel or webmail because they block these ports for security reasons.

What are the options for viewing mail through firewalls?

Hi,

While at work, I cannot access my mail via webmail nor can I access mail using Outlook client because ports are blocked. I understand that Outlook clients are blocked. This is a pretty normal situation. However, the whole concept of webmail is to offer an alternative to the client. It seems that I have no way to access my mail during the business day. I am resorted to getting the mail on my blackberry and then forwarding it to another account I have to answer it.

I am able to access other webmails (internet accounts, home ISP and business webmail) without an issue.

Is there no alternative to access the mail?

Helllo,

The webmail ports are 2095 and 2096.. If both are blocked then there is no other way other than to open these ports on your local network firewall.

If you still cant rectify the issue.. feel free to open a ticket to support@canadianwebhosting.com with your account details. We willcheck the issue from there. :)
