Olympic Torch Relay : Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics

The Olympic Torch has now reached the greater lower main land and in 4 days the Olympic Torch will reach downtown Vancouver BC place stadium where the games begin.
The olympics is going to be amazing, the whole world is almost here!

Schwarzenegger, Buble and Walter Gretzky to carry torch in the coming week.
So who do you think is going to carry few meters to light the Olympic cauldron?

Anyone going to watch the Torch Relay today? It is passing through our city (Richmond, BC) and ending up at the OZONE in Minoru Park. I'm planning to check it out after work. Maybe catch the fireworks at the end.

Wow was it ever a zoo out there last night! It was packed shoulder to shoulder and I couldn't even see the big screens lol. I saw a glimpse of the flame as it came by but apart from that it was just a sea of people. I did pick up a few souvenirs and an autograph though. Trying to leave the place afterwards was so difficult. There was only 2 entrances/exits so it was like a major traffic jam with everyone trying to funnel out.
Apart from the crowd, the Richmond OZONE looks like a great place to party. They made the Holland House look pretty nice.

Not to sound like a party pooper, but I hope it starts and ends soon.....its messing with my commute to work!

Yup, definitely a lot of Olympic fever going on here! There were SOOOO many people at The Bay today in the Olympic wear section. I even saw a Russian Olympian walkin around. I need to get in there and pick up a sweater or something.. can't wear my hockey jersey everyday
