Dow falls 140 in wild trading day; US adds jobs

The decline wipes out US market gains for the year. More uncertainty, mostly because of Europe, is ahead. The SEC will look into Thursday's big sell-off. Nokia sues Apple.
U.S. stocks tumbled again on Friday, ending a week that wiped out the market's gains for the year. The losses came despite the best monthly jobs report in more than four years.
The market was unable to get past the continuing turmoil in Europe and the shock of Thursday's near-meltdown of the U.S. market. It's likely that the volatility that has beset markets since the end of April will continue next week.
