Can not backup big server. Backup fails with error

Unable to close zip archive
Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

SOLUTION:

Try to increase accessible process address space up to 3 Gb using /3gb parameter in boot.ini as described there - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../ms189334.aspx

Be aware:
1. Reboot is required.
2. No more than 16 Gb of physical memory must be available for success - see note at the end of article.
