Are parenteses and underscores allowed in file names?

For example: smith_louis_(35).jpg

Can someone tell me what characters are not allowed to be used for file names on this host site?

Hi Ron,


underscores and parenthesis are allowed when naming files in the servers, naming files in specific directories in the sever are the same as naming files in your computer. The characters that can't be use would be the following: / \ | : ? < > * as the mentioned characters are used for querying syntax and directories or wildcard queries.
